To install Windows operating system on a computer, users can choose to install via HDD, install directly without the help of other devices. Or we can proceed to create a Windows installation boot from a USB device, or use a DVD from the publisher.

1. Minimum hardware requirements to install Windows 7:
In order to successfully install the Windows 7 operating system using a DVD, your computer must meet the following requirements:
- CPU 1GHz or higher with 32 bit or 64 bit.
- 1 GB Ram for 32 bit version or 2 GB Ram for 64 bit version.
- 16 GB of free disk space for 32-bit or 20 GB for 64-bit.
- Graphics card that supports DirectX 9 with WDDM 1.0 or higher.
- DVD drive for installation.
2. Install Windows 7 with DVD:
Step 1:
To begin, individuals must configure their computer to boot from the CD or DVD drive in the BIOS. In order to access the BIOS interface, the user will need to press the correct key based on the specific computer model being utilized. Once you are in the BIOS interface, go to the “Boot” tab and choose “CD-ROM Drive” to initiate booting from the CD or DVD drive.

After completing the setup, press the F10 key to save the settings and exit the BIOS interface.
Step 2:
After that, we will insert the Windows 7 installation disc into the DVD drive and proceed to restart the computer. Users should wait until the interface for downloading the Windows 7 installation file appears, as shown below.
Please wait a few seconds for the Windows 7 Start screen interface to appear.
Step 3:
At the computer’s Windows 7 installation interface, users are presented with three options for setup, one of which is to exclusively use the English language.
- Language to Install: Language to install.
- Time and currency format: Date and currency format.
- Keyboard or input method: Type of keyboard to use.
We simply need to press the “Next” key in order to proceed.
Step 4:
Switch to the new interface and click on “Install now”.
Step 5:
You patiently wait for a few seconds for the “Select operating system you want to install” interface to appear. Subsequently, you choose the Windows 7 operating system and proceed by clicking the “Next” button.
Step 6:
Please switch to the Microsoft settings and terms of use interface, tick the box stating “I agree to the terms of use,” and then click on “Next.”
Step 7:
On this interface, the system will prompt us to select the installation method. Please click on “customize”.
Step 8:
Upon advancing to the subsequent screen interface, the user will be required to select the drive partition in which they desire to install Windows 7. Following this, they should proceed to press the “Format” button located at the bottom. It is imperative to ensure that the appropriate Windows installation drive on the computer is chosen.
Step 9:
The Windows 7 installation interface pops up. You allow these processes to be done automatically on the computer.
Afterwards, the computer will undergo an automatic restart, and subsequently, the Windows 7 interface screen will be displayed.
Step 10:
Finally, proceed to the login page for user information, which includes the username and password (if applicable).
If no key is available, you should choose the Automatic… option and then click Next.
Please continue clicking “Ask me later” and proceed with system settings on Windows 7, which include configuring the date and time as well as connecting to the network. Once you have finished these settings, you will be taken to the complete interface of Windows 7.
